Things that make you go naaaaaaw
"Mummy I love you so much"
"I love you too darling."
"But I love you so much my head is going to explode off my body, and break into little pieces and my eyeballs will roll on the floor"

Technology Fail
Today at work a small thing happened. Every single computer in a network of over 30 000 computers across the country locked. Just like that, locked. If you were one of the people who were currently typing, you were safe, but if - like me - you had ducked away from your desk you were locked out and could not get back in. It lasted half an hour or so, but if - like me - you had not realised it was network error and thought it was your password, so you tried more than 3 times (or in my case about 35 times), the system shut down your account for fear of hackers. For most, your account was reactivated another half hour later. But if you were one of the lucky few - like me - affected by some strange "system error", your account would not reactivate. And THEN, because it's a National system and WA do not have Daylight Savings Time (because, you know, the curtains might fade) you were stuffed. Because Canberra had gone home. Bah. I may or may not have stamped my feet like a toddler and shouted "Fuck you and the horse you road in on." to my computer.

Oops I did it again...
Haven't felt like blogging lately. Think I use up all my words at work, when I get home I just want silence (fat chance of that LOL).
Since the last post I had a birthday (38 if you must know); moved out of home for a few days to get the floors polished and then moved back in again; bought a couch (which hasn't arrived yet, but it's soooo nice); worked, worked some more; created costumes for Multicultural Day at school in 5 minutes flat (thank you dress up box!); whipped up 2 dozen sausage rolls at 11pm for a school party; bandaged knees; spent 3 hrs in an opthalmologists waiting room to be told that Hannah has perfect vision; got food poisoning from a dodgy lunch and had to excuse myself from a meeting at work in a hurry (that was embarrassing); introduced my girls to the wonder that is The Sound of Music; played with my new favourite toy (iPhone, for my birthday) and well, I think that's mostly it!
Trying to link my phone to blogger so I can blog on the run, but forgot my flibberty jibbet password!
